In my fourth year of undergrad, juggling courses and research.
- One paper submitted to WACV ‘27, under review (preprint pending)
- Working on 2 parallel research threads: one on mechanistic interpretability and understanding personas in LLMs, and another on adversarial attacks in machine learning.
Learning Stuff
- Enrolled in the course “Information, Computation, and Learning”, offered by Professor Prasad Krishnan. This course aims to provide an understanding of learning theory, and I hope to gain a solid intuition about information-theoretic frameworks. Perhaps this could be useful in my research too!
- Also enrolled in courses that piqued my interest: Modern Complexity Theory and Introduction to Economics; hopefully these teach me a lot of cool things :)
Tech Setup
- Lenovo IdeaPad running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, fulfils my requirements
- Mouse: Logitech MX Master 3S (I spent far too long getting this to work on Linux haha)
- Keyboard: Logitech K230 (looking to upgrade this soon)
On Coffee
- Aeropress is my daily driver, love the consistent brews
- Timemore C2s grinder
- Prefer medium roasts, still trying out different brands and local shops
Misc.
- Watching The Mentalist (2008) during off-hours
- Gradually reading Homer’s Iliad (the Samuel Butler translation).
- Trying to learn Latin with a friend (using Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata, it’s a great resource!)
