First post!

Just revamped/rewrote the whole site, with some fancy new stuff. Hugo with the risotto theme actually works well! Just some final stuff left before all of this goes online.

I’m making this website as a space to present and express myself without the constraints of a CV or a LinkedIn profile. No need to condense my thoughts and optimise for ‘impact’ and keyword-spam to satisfy arbitrary metrics.

Let’s see where this goes :D

Academics and Research

Background

I am interested in the domain of machine learning and the ways it works (and by extension, the ways it doesn’t work). I find mathematics (especially discrete mathematics and linear algebra) and theory very cool, and I have always tried my best to formalise my intuition using these as a backbone.

Experience

As of yet, my research experience includes a lot of reading, understanding and some minor projects such as a study investigating improvements on attacks against LLM watermarks. I’m currently working on one major project related to backdoor vulnerabilities in model merging setups. A preprint for the same is currently in preparation.

I won’t really talk about academics/research on this particular page (you can find that on my CV and research pages already). Instead, what follows is an assortment of some of the other things I enjoy.

Some Things I Enjoy

Books: I love reading! A large part of who I am today has been shaped by some of the books I’ve read. The way I tend to put words together, the way I put thoughts together - right down to some of my core axioms - have been fundamentally changed by some of the books I’ve read. I’m primarily a fiction enjoyer (although I have brought myself to read and enjoy a couple of non-fiction books), and there are quite a few genres that I am inclined towards. If you have any recommendations do let me know!
